Not medical advice. Useful checks only. No celebrity pregnancy items.
## Three things worth doing today
**1. RSV antibody window, day one.** In most of the continental United States, infant RSV monoclonal antibodies (nirsevimab or clesrovimab) are given 1 October through 31 March. First-season (under 8 months, not already protected by a well-timed pregnancy RSV vaccine) and second-season (8–19 months, high-risk only, nirsevimab) are different rules. Ask what is on the shelf before you leave the well visit or the birth hospital.
**2. Leftover recalls still live in diaper bags.**
- Love to Dream portable sleep machine, model **LTD-SM23**, date code **7W15TN**: lithium-ion battery can overheat with an incompatible charger. Stop using it, unplug it, register at lovetodream.com/recall. About 4,000 U.S. units; CPSC lists no incidents in the U.S. notice. Do not toss a lithium pack in household trash.
- Melissa & Doug Lights & Sounds Fire Truck Activity Board: hose port can loosen and detach (choking). Stop use; replacement, $30 check, or $40 store credit via Melissa & Doug recall channels.
- Skip Hop Baby Sesame Street Elmo silicone teether: black eyes can come off **if the teether is frozen**. Stop freezing it; follow the Skip Hop / CPSC remedy.
**3. COVID, 6 through 23 months.** AAP recommends 2026–2027 COVID-19 vaccine for **all** children in this age band without a contraindication. CDC language for most children is shared clinical decision-making. VFC ordering opened after a multi-week delay; that does not guarantee a vial in your clinic today. Ask: product on shelf? VFC or private stock? Following AAP universal guidance or only high-risk / shared-decision?
