Pregnancy wellness
Light movement, rest, and stress notes. Not medical advice.
Stop and call a clinician for bleeding, severe headache, sudden swelling, reduced movements later in pregnancy, or anything that feels wrong.
Movement
- Walking and prenatal-approved stretching are common starting points if your clinician agrees.
- Skip contact sports and activities with a high fall risk unless cleared.
- Heat: avoid overheating in hot tubs and very hot yoga.
Sleep and mood
- Side-lying with a pillow between the knees helps many people later on.
- Short rest windows beat waiting for a perfect night.
- Low mood or anxiety that sticks around is a reason to ask for support, not a personal failing.
